How do you ‘weaponize’ a weapon? (a poem)

Today’s entry, inspired by the title of an article on The Guardian website:

The edge is already sharp
and willing to cut

You can’t make it more than
what it already is

the bullet
always exits the gun
the same way

What happens after that
is up to physics

I accept nothing thrown at me

I’m not invincible
but I know nothing can hurt me more
than I hurt myself

I know all my vulnerable places
