Respite (a poem)

Here is yesterday’s very late entry, a verbless poem. Not so keen on this one, but here it is…

Sluggish in the heat
a temporary respite
from rain and gloom
and grey skies infinite

Infinite gestures invisible to most
small figures against an outsized world
erosion a reality
without a frame

A frame and a picture
without title, without form
nearly invisible
essentially incognito

Incognito ergo what?
A different verb
a language still dead
but for effect

Effect without cause
always a mystery
A paragraph without end
always a poem (almost)
