Two cosmic jokes (a poem)

A new Pi-Archimedes poem. Actually, a combination of two of them. Neither feels strong enough alone—but together they reinforce each other quite nicely.

1
I didn’t start
this.
I won’t even finish
it.
It’ll go on without me.
The universe has been itching to leave me behind…

2
I have no
idea
how much I have
left.
I know only one thing:
it isn’t enough, and I’m lucky to have it.
